Modern (B) Blank posts are for installations with unusual requirements that a standard post kit won't accommodate.Blank posts have drilled holes for cable to pass, but does not have holes for rail brackets at the top of the post. When drilling holes in these posts for cable assemblies, be sure to apply touch-up paint to any exposed aluminum. In harsh environments, always use isolation bushings. Improper installation may void the warranty.
