The Avalon Collection by RDI is a highly customizable aluminum guardrail system, perfect for deck railing or porch railing! Avalon has three top rail options - Tristan, Oberon, and Pellinore. Top rails are sold separately, so configurations can be complex! Avalon rail kits come standard for top and bottom 2-rail, but have an adapter available for a third rail! Avalon Aluminum Rail kits come with ¾” aluminum balusters, but other infill options are available, such as ⅛ in. Horizontal Stainless Steel Cable, Vertical 4-⅛ in. Glass (Slats) Pickets, and Decorative Screen Panels. Aluminum Balusters are included in Aluminum Railing Kits, but all other infill options are sold separately.

Avalon Aluminum Rail Kits Panels are a great aluminum railing option for contractors and professional installers who are used to the Fortress Railing systems. The pre-paneled Avalon Aluminum Rail Panel Kits are available in Level and Stair, and all aluminum components mean no rusting and easier cuts than Fortress Iron!

Avalon Panels are designed to use one of three options for the top rail. Pellinore is an elegant top rail with a curved top rail that the hand sits nicely on. Tristan seems to be the most modern top rail profile, with a flat top and tight shoulders. Oberon, on the other hand, is the newest, drink rail profile, but complements the Tristan top rail nicely! Drink rail profiles allow a deck board or other board to be mounted for an extended-width top rail.

Surface Mount Post options include 2-½ in. x 2-½ in. and 4-¼ in. x 4-¼ in. with and “over-the-top” post option for the standard 2-½ in. x 2-½ in. posts. Fascia Mount Posts are available by Special Order.

36 in. and 42 in. options are available, 36 in. railing is in stock, but may take 1-2 weeks to ship. 42 in. railing available by adapter to convert railing from 36 in. to 42 in.

Avalon Rail and Post Color profiles are Matte Black, Matte Bronze, and White.
