KeyLink 2.5" Standard Aluminum Surface Mount Posts

Sleek, Unobtrusive Support for Your Railing System.

Every reliable railing system starts with a rock-solid foundation. KeyLink’s 2.5" x 2.5" aluminum surface mount posts are the go-to choice for most residential deck and patio projects. Engineered from heavy-wall extruded aluminum and finished with a premium powder coating, these posts provide full code-compliant structural support without bulky profiles obstructing your view. The 2.5" post is the perfect pairing for standard baluster systems like the KeyLink Chesapeake and American series, offering a minimalist, clean-lined aesthetic that blends seamlessly into your outdoor space.

Key Features & Installation Benefits

Sleek Profile: Maximizes your outdoor views and provides a modern, refined look that won't overwhelm your deck design. Heavy-Duty Welded Base Plates: No wobbly connections. Every post features a thick, factory-welded base plate to ensure a rigid, secure mount to your deck frame. Leveling System Included: Deck surfaces are rarely perfectly flat. KeyLink posts include leveling shims to easily achieve perfectly plumb installations on uneven wood, composite, or concrete surfaces. 2-Piece Post Trim: Every post comes with a color-matched, snap-together base trim ring (post skirt) that completely hides your mounting hardware and shims. Premium Powder Coating: Available in KeyLink's standard finishes (Black, White, Bronze) to perfectly match your railing sections.
